How it's done

Let us take you on a short tour and show you how these amazing flowers are brought to you…

All young Plants of Million Stars® are produced in our own facilities, starting from clean foundation stock produced by tissue culture…

…through Mother Plants grown on raised tables in a separated medium from which the cuttings are taken…

…and on to the rooting tables were young cuttings are exposed to the ideal humidity levels…

And finally, the end product, a young Million Stars® plant.

Plants are then packed…

…and shipped to growers around the world…

Where the young plant is planted in the soil and given overhead irrigation until it is established.

About one month after planting, the plant is ready to be pinched so that the many shoots that have developed can begin to elongate…

The plants are then given a "long day" treatment, by using an artificial lighting system hung over the field for several hours a night…

…and finally the field is in flowering…

Stems are harvested when a certain percentage of the flowers in the inflorescence are open…

The remaining flowers are then opened in an induced process by using a Post Harvest Solution, and giving the stems the ideal conditions to best react to the solution…

Back in the field, the plants are cut back to soil level to allow the whole process to start anew…

While the flowers arrive safely at their destinations…

Million Stars is grown all over the world, in modern greenhouses…

…simple wooden structures…

…under shade net…

…in the open field…

…and even among friends…

And it is…

As friendly as ever
